In 17 days you will only succeed in losing a few pounds I am afraid. Weight loss and fitness is always a long term commitment and never a quick fix. If you really want to reduce your weight a bit, this is a complex regime, that should help, I would get a pencil to write it down, in case you forget any of the intricate details.
Currently only using the criteria ‘lose weight’ there are 8,585 questions and answers on Answers already. Mis-spell it as ‘loose weight’ and you get another 2,401! ‘Weight loss’ will add another 1,727. ‘Too fat ‘ 14,355 and ‘overweight’ 2,466 and ‘over weight’ 24,093!!!!!.
‘Diet Pills’ gives 574, Hoodia 185, ‘pink patch’ 108, ‘Xenical’ 84 ‘reductil’ 74, ‘Slim fast’ 208 (and Slimfast 68 ) and ‘orlistat’ 38 . Do you spot a pattern here?
Here comes the only answer, no tricks, no pills, no short cuts, If you really want to lose weight, loose weight, not be too fat or overweight, follow these instructions carefully:-
1) Eat less
2) Take regular vigorous exercise
Repeat 1+2 forever!

there is no such thing as a “quick” weight loss diet. diets that allow you to lose weight quickly are bad for your health, and the thing is, once the diet is over, you just put all of the weight plus some MORE back on, leaving you in a worse position than when you started.
to lose weight healthily (and for it to be permanent weight loss) I would recommend eating a healthy, balanced diet and exercising regularly – same old thing you hear all the time, I know, but it really does work like a charm.

Well I think it’s totally about self-control:
Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt
Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)
Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet bar
Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios
Some other tips:
DON’T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT’S AMAZING
I recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)
Another thing is to drink green tea once a day, it burns fat and it’s good for your health
And of course, do at least 50 abs per day
Good luck
Robert_R Says:
The rise in the number of fast foods joints that have a lot of saturated fat in the meals, the use of a lot of refined sugar in sodas and other processed foods and eating food with less fiber have all contributed to the fact that there are more people than before who are classified as either overweight or are obese.
A lot of other factors cause this to happen such as genetics, overeating and as people age; the metabolism slows down making it harder than before to burn the food that was just consumed.
The rate that a person loses weight is commensurate to how it is gained. Rapid weight is not good advisable since it leaves the person with lose skin and the only way to get rid of that would require surgery.
Weight loss depends on the condition of the person which includes weight, health, calorie-intake, age, gender, lifestyle, stress level and routine.
Being overweight does not necessarily make a person unhealthy. It just makes the person a bit unfashionable. Studies have shown that people who are a bit overweight live longer than those who have normal weight.

i dont think quick fix diets are the answer,
and especially not at your age!!
it’s important to get enough exercise and eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables in it and try and get a hobby e.g. hockey, swimming.
just get your hair and makeup done professionally and make sure you feel £1 million dollars in your dress,
you don’t have to be ultra skinny to be beautiful

Quick weight loss diets don’t work, you’d end up putting it all, and more, back on.
My advice would be to go and see the nurse at your GP’s surgery. They give dietary advice.
