eat lots of fruits and vegetables…they have plenty of complex carbs. If you must eat bread or pasta stick to 100% whole grain. If you are really looking for the best weight loss diet, I suggest doing what this mom did, combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best diet result http://saraweightlossblog.blogspot.com/

What I do is replace white rice and white pasta with brown rice and wholegrain/meal pasta. I only eat those for lunch and not for dinner, and even then I won’t eat excessively like I used to.
My plate used to contain mostly rice/pasta then meat then vegetables.
It should be, Vegetables, meat then rice/pasta.
It might take a bit to get used to, but you do feel more mobile and fresh when you don’t stuff yourself with so much refined carbs.

Almonds are a good source to help you feel full.
I’ve cut out carbs all together. Haven’t missed them, the first week was rough, but it got easier.
When you get a serious craving, have a bit of what you crave. Watch portion sizes.
Eating half of what you used too and eating more fruit and veggies helps
alot. And drinking a lot more water.
